Days in the Cult

Kargyn belonged to a Kobold cult called Dahak's Claw. They worshipped the "Endless Destruction" Dahak: dragon god. Kargyn was poorly respected in his kobold clan, and believed they were unappreciative of his intellect, never accepting his slowfang designs or tactical prowess that could have caused raids to the surface to run much more smoothly.

One such raid happened on Rova 4719 on Wrin Sivinxi's oddities shop. Her bodygaurd Ashe and Wrin dispatched his comrades, and Kargyn surrendered to them, promising himself to Wrin's service. After being spared by Ashe, Kargyn was shown that sparing a foe after you have chosen to kill them, one of Dahak's anathema, was actually a reasonable and indeed respectable choice. This changed Kargyn's alignment from CE to CN.

===A New Home, A New Family

Now clinging on to his new family and feeling a strong sense of community in Otari, he looks down on the primitive life he used to lead and in turn other kobolds, seeing himself as far more dragon like than their lesser intellect could ever hope to achieve. Kargyn also adopted the faith of Wrin, that of the pantheon known as the Cosmic Caravan, valuing his newfound freedom, enjoying the night sky that was hidden away from him for years, and seeing a better future for himself in life.
