History
Iopo grew up in the swamps of the Junira river as part of a large grippli family. He was a calm child, and was encouraged by his often absent father to take up religous pursuits. This nurturing led to Iopo leaving home to join a monsatery of Sarenrae at the age of fourteen.
For four years, Iopo studied and medidated in the light of The Dawnflower, but he eventually grew restless, tired of the passive nature of the monks. After he was confirmed as a brother monk in The Everlight, Iopo set out into the deserts of north-eastern Garund to maintain and defend shrines of Sarenrae.
Two years later, Iopo took time to visit his family home once more, resulting in the events detailed here.
