Lemura is a half-vampire musician who channels their musical reveries through the crucible of their mind to produce potent magical effects. They performed as the lead harpist in their father's court for many years until a vampire hunter slew their father.

History

Lemura was born near Leydis, in the River Kingdoms, to an unknown human mother and Baron Vilitrimineth, a minor vampire lord. They spent the first century of their life under the oppressive protection of their father, and it was under his eye that Lemura was made to study music. They developed, after a few decades, a strong affinity for the harp.

With this new skill, they served in their father's orchestras for many years, until the day that a vampire hunter slew their father and brought their family home to ruin. Having not been especially enamoured with their father after a century, Lemura made good their escape.

Life as a hermit

Lemura moved at first to the Gravelands, but soon found that despite their kinship with the undead, the cruel tyranny of Tar-Baphon's servants felt far too similar to their father's iron grip.

So, they moved on again, settling this time in Trunau, in the south of Belkzen. They stayed here for many years, processing the trauma of their childhood, and learning to channel their emotions into psychic energy.

Personality

Lemura is extremely emotive, as a result of their psychic training, and is far more open than others of their age.
