Unek Chuyar is a tengu accountant. His family were killed during a raid on the docks they owned, and to receive his ancestral sword, a katana named Zephyrus, he set off on an expedition to Jalmeray. After being kidnapped by Okeno slavers en route, Unek was freed in the Okeno prisonbreak of 4722AR.
"I seek to reclaim my family swords. The first, a katana named Zephyrus, was stolen by the bandit crew who raided the docks my family owned. The second, a wakizashi named Eurus, was stolen by the slavers who boarded the ship I was taking to Jalmeray."
