Records detailing the adventures of the band initially consisting of Grennigore, Chidewick, Obblehob, and Mog.

Session 1 - 05/12/2023

Chime the 16th of Lymewald

Clear, cold.

Travelling south on the Harrow Road toward Prygwort, the band consisting of Obble, Gren, and Mog met the Curate-aspirant Chidewick. The group had a cold reception at the Clashed Antler Inn from a racist militia seeking to keep servants of the Nag-lord out of the town. A round of drinks appeased them. The octogenarian barkeep disclosed to Gren that the leader of the "militia" was his grand-nephew, and very much in need of a wife.

House Harrowmore is increasing their presence in the area. The house allegedly consorts with a monstrous entity that lives in the lake in 1105.

Prygwort market is only on Colly, so the group resupplied at a general store. For Chidewick's sake, they went afterwards to the sprawling church of Saint Waylaid. Brewers were coming from all over to have their ale blessed, and Chidewick took some time in conference with the Vicar to pray. The group accepted a request from the Vicar to fix-up a shrine to Saint Wold located near a woodcutter's encampment to the south (1208).

Elsewhere in the city, the group ran into a sailor and a store owner having a dispute over a cryptic treasure map. The group acquired the map from the sailor, and found out from the merchant that it was her grandfather's, the founder of the "Sea of Stars" jeweller's shop. The current proprietoress expressed her desire for some adventure, and asked the group to tell her stories when they had some.

In search of rumours and alcohol, the group went first to the Wrinkled Meddler Inn, but were rejected on sight and redirected to the Rap Tappers Quadrant. The latter turned out to be a very quiet establishment with a labyrinthine interior.

A baker who can make enchanted cakes lives in 1206.

Fog Lake lies in 1207

The group spent the rest of the day hunting, eventually slaying just under a half-dozen moss moles. They stayed that evening at the Clashed Antler Inn without incident.

Hayme the 17th of Lymewald

Relentless wind.

Headed south without a road. Avoided a group of giant ants. Set up camp in the forest, but poor conditions prevented good rest for most characters. At night, Obble saw two women leading a blindfolded girl. The women told the him to forget what he saw and not wake the others.

Moot the 18th of Lymewald

Clear, cold.

Explored 1107. Found a chasm, Obble and Gren descended into it. They followed a passage leading deeper into the earth, but they chose to turn back after around 20 minutes of no change.

Followed the tracks of the women from last night. They led to a pool of violet liquid. The blindfolded woman was floating in the pool, which was healing her boils. The other two women entered the clearing to tell her they'd be "taking her back soon".

Camped up that night with plenty of firewood. On Chidewick's watch, a pair of giant spiders attacked. We drove them off with arrows. One dead, one fled.

Frisk the 19th of Lymewald

Cold, windy, gloomy.

Hunted a huge red deer around 1107. Had a good meal and a quiet night. All but Chidewick rested well.

Eggfast the 20th of Lymewald

Relentless wind.

Explored 1108. A tangled forest with strange loops in the trees' trunks. Found a strange freestanding stone arch. A passage carved on the keystone: "To dine overnight will the daytime delight". Southern edge of this area is swampy. Found a strange green glowing cave mouth.

Had a large meal late at night, left a plate near the arch. During Gren's watch, some sort of invisible creature ate the food and left behind a beautiful steak dinner. Chidewick and Gren got a poor night's rest but it was otherwise peaceful.
