The Departure

The departure was the event that marked the end of Second Age, where the Gods stopped walking the world of man freely and left behind slivers of their power. Whilst there have been accounts of those that see gods in the world post departure, the accounts are rare and unreliable, often only being seen by those that are already fanatically devoted to the following of the gods they claim to see.
