The Nameless God of Time

Yet I remember seeing his face, and I know that he was real when I saw him. Despite everything the gods have told us – that there is not, was never a ninth member of the first kin, I remember

- Source unknown, unnamed scholar, prior to The Departure

What happens when a God dies? Scholars and Priests have been asking this question for as long as the earth has been turning. Many conclusions have been reached in the study of the unnamed god of time, the lost 9th member of the First Kin, who is believed to have lived for a short period pre-departure in the first age. Mythos surrounding this God suggests that the power of Time, as it once existed, was too powerful to be in the hands of mortals, and due to some agreement from a group of gods

But despite this, there are some who still worship this dead god, gleaning echoes of the past from texts and accounts, and pray for his return - Whether that be through finding the key to his resurrection through the undiscovered tomes of the past or the ascension of a worthy second kin god to take his place. The reasons for wanting the return of the God of Time are various: some wish for time to be frozen in a perfect state, whilst others wish for the end to come sooner, hoping that the next god of time will break down the world into its base elements by manipulating eternal time magic to their own benefit.
